INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT – AGREEMENT UPDATE

Granting of an extraordinary loan to the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory to grant and pay to the Island Council of La Palma, Council of Ministers of August 26, 2025, in compliance with the provisions of Royal Decree-Law 20/2021, of October 5, as a consequence of the volcanic eruptions on the island of La Palma.

Application of the Contingency Fund and concession, for a total amount of 6,191,932.15 euros, (updating of the State-Cabildo Infrastructure Convention) in accordance with the provisions of the General Budget Law.

Granting of an extraordinary loan to the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory to grant and pay to the Island Council of La Palma, Council of Ministers of August 26, 2025, in compliance with the provisions of Royal Decree-Law 20/2021, of October 5, as a consequence of the volcanic eruptions on the island of La Palma.

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Astrophysical Scientific Institution of the Canary Islands (IAC), the project (Thirty Meter Telescope – TMT) has been presented, which includes a contribution from the Spanish Government of €400M through the Center for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI) to get its installation in the island of La Palma.

SCHOOL-MONTERREY HOTEL

The Government of Spain, grants a grant of 3.5 M€. for the extension of the six-month extension of the project of completion of work of the Monterrey Hotel-School, in the municipality of El Paso LaPalma. With a deadline until June 30, 2026, to finish its execution and its implementation.

SEPE ENDOWMENT JULY 2025

The Government of Spain (Ministry of Labour and Social Economy) has once again approved the Comprehensive Employment Plan for different agencies, following its promotion with a new allocation of €139 million.-

ENOGASTRONOMICAL DAYS

III Enogastronomical Days Slow Taste, opportunity to differentiate the tourism-gastronomic offer, captivating number of national and international visitors who have shown their interest, in our gastronomy, culture and landscape of our islands, consequently creating a colloquium and connection between the different directions, within the National Plan of Gastronomic Tourism, without forgetting the promotion in employment and local development.

TOWN HALL OF THE PLAINS OF ARIDANE

The Ministry of Territorial Policy has received from the City of Los Llanos de Aridane the second agreement for post-volcano reconstruction. The funds will go to new housing estates, road networks and public facilities in the areas affected by the eruption.
