The coordination of security on the occasion of the sports event Madring Formula 1 has taken another step today with the meeting that has been held at the headquarters of the Delegation of the Government of Spain in Madrid.
Chaired by the Government delegate, Francisco Martín Aguirre, participated: representatives of IFEMA, with its President, José Vicente de los Mozos, at the head; of the Secretary of State for Security of the Ministry of the Interior; representatives of the National Police (of the General Commissariat of Citizen Security and of the Superior Police Headquarters of Madrid); of the Civil Guard (of the Functional Headquarters of Operations, of the Nature Protection Unit and of the Madrid Regional Transport Office;
Issues related to mobility, the main security risks linked to a sporting event of this type, the coordination tools that will have been activated, air traffic or access control have been exposed.
The work on race safety, which will have a semi-urban circuit, began months ago, with the holding of previous meetings, and will continue in the coming weeks through sectoral working tables in which each of the related aspects will be specifically addressed.
The Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix will be held in the capital of Spain between September 11 and 13.
