· The municipality will hold concerts and activities between 14 and 17 May
· The security data show a “very positive” trend with a decrease in the crime rate of 6.6 points in 2025 compared to 2024
Ciempozuelos is preparing for the festivities of San Isidro, which this year are held between May 14 and 17, with a Local Security Board in which the planned Security Plan has been coordinated and some aspects of it have finished being outlined.
The deputy delegate of the Government of Spain in the Community of Madrid, Pilar Trinidad, who co-chaired the Board together with the mayor, Raquel Jimeno, representatives of the Civil Guard, Local Police, the municipal government team, and the Community of Madrid, attended.
Once again, these festivities will have a Violeta Point and the safe taxi service for women and young people who attend the activities.
Good security development
Likewise, the most outstanding data collected in the Memory of the Local Police of Ciempozuelos 2025 have been presented, which show reinforcements carried out in specific controls and plans such as that of the neighborhood police or the tutor agent.
Regarding the latter figure, the Government’s deputy delegate recalled that the Master Plan is also under way, through which National Police or Civil Guard agents give talks in schools and institutes, and that last year they increased in Ciempozuelos compared to the previous year. He has also encouraged them to request talks on the Greater Plan, developed by the Madrid Command, to train older people in the safe use of new technologies.
In addition, Pilar Trinidad has highlighted the good evolution of security data recorded by the municipality since 2019, in which the number of crimes has been decreasing year after year. In fact, the crime rate registered a decrease of 6.6 points in 2025 compared to the previous year, to 44.06 points, with a decrease in crimes against heritage of 17%.
These figures are the demonstration of the “good work” and “good collaboration” maintained by the Local Police and the Civil Guard and which both the Deputy Delegate of the Government and the Mayor wanted to highlight and thank.
