Constitution (Articles 3 and 20.3)

Article 3

1. Spanish is the official Spanish language of the State. All Spaniards have a duty to know it and the right to use it.

2. The other Spanish languages will also be official in the respective Autonomous Communities according to their Statutes.

3. The richness of the different linguistic modalities of Spain is a cultural heritage that will be subject to special respect and protection.

3. The law will regulate the organization and parliamentary control of the social media dependent on the State or any public entity and will guarantee access to such media by significant social and political groups, respecting the pluralism of society and the various languages of Spain.
