Graduated in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid in 1988, she is a career civil servant of the Superior Corps of Administrators, Specialty General Administrators of the Junta de Andalucía (2006), and of the Technical Scale of Management of Autonomous Bodies of the General Administration of the State (2008). As a complementary training, she holds the Recognition of Research Sufficiency and Doctoral Program in Public Management at the University of Seville, is a University Expert in Health Management from the University of Granada, and holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership for Political Management from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

In terms of her professional experience, she was a member of the State Attorney’s Office in Huelva between 2001 and 2002, and 1999 and 2000. In this last period she was a State Attorney and taught as a Professor of Administrative Procedural Law at the School of Legal Practice of the Bar Association of Huelva from 1998 to 2022. She has been Superior of Administration in the Provincial Directorate of the National Institute of Employment in Huelva from 1989 to 2008, and Legal Adviser of the Planning and Exploitation Department of the Port Authority of Huelva from 2000 to 2008; currently she has been occupying the position of Director of the Employment Center, Huelva-Muñoz de Vargas since 2019.

Her political experience begins at the local level as Provincial Delegate of the Ministry of Health in Huelva from 2008 to 2012, and at the regional level, as General Director of Senior Citizens, Children and Families of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of the Junta de Andalucía between 2012 and 2013, as well as in the Territorial Delegation of Equality, Health and Social Policies in Huelva of the Junta de Andalucía (Head of Planning and Resource Evaluation Service, 2014 to 2017, and General Secretary of Health and Common Resources, 2017 to 2019).

It is native to Gijón (Principado de Asturias).
