Traffic forecasts more than three million trips in Asturias in Operation Summer
  • The Summer 2026 Special Operation includes four special operations, specific devices for all summer weekends and an extraordinary device to manage the mobility associated with the eclipse of the Sun on August 12.
  • The first special device starts this Friday, July 3 at 15:00 hours, and will end at 24:00 hours on Sunday, day 5, with a forecast 142,000 displacement long-distance travel in Asturias

Renfe strengthens the Asturias-Madrid High Speed services on summer weekends
  • During July and August the company increases the offer of places on Sundays and makes hourly adjustments on Mondays to facilitate summer mobility
  • The new service will circulate on Sundays of July and August as AVE 4200 Gijón-Madrid, with material S-106, and will have departure from Gijón at 19:53 hours
