- Coordinated the security plan for its patron saint’s parties in June
Arroyomolinos maintains in 2026 a stable trend in the evolution of its crime data after two particularly positive years, and maintains its crime rate below the average of the Community of Madrid.
This is how the municipality, which has been co-chaired by the Subdelegate of the Government in the Community of Madrid, Pilar Trinidad Núñez; and the Mayor of Arroyomolinos, Luis Quiroga Toledo, has been exposed today in the Local Security Board. Representatives of the Civil Guard, Local Police, the municipal government team, Civil Protection and the Community of Madrid have also participated.
Attendees have agreed that the figures with which the years 2024 and 2025 were closed are difficult to improve, so keeping them is already good news in itself. Also, the fact that the calculations do not take into account the floating population of the Xanadú shopping center, with which they would be even better, has been highlighted.
Special device for the Corpus Christi festivities
The Local Security Board has also addressed the security plan for the Corpus Christi festivities in June. The operation will be composed of Civil Guard troops, Local Police agents and volunteers from the Civil Protection group, who will intensify their presence in a very significant way in the most sensitive places of the municipality.
Pilar Trinidad wanted to thank the Local Police, Civil Guard and Civil Protection for their joint work to guarantee “safe and less incident parties” and has opted for coordination as the best formula to address security issues.
