- The security situation in the municipality has been reviewed, whose crime rate improved by 13 points last year
The municipality of Estremera has today constituted its Local Security Commission that will serve as a channel to strengthen the cooperation and coordination of all Public Administrations in matters of security, especially between the State Administration and the Local Corporation.
It is the main objective of these instruments that can be used by those localities that do not have their own Local Police force, and that represent an effective mechanism for the analysis and evaluation of the situation of citizen security, as well as for the promotion of actions that are considered necessary to prevent crime and improve security and coexistence in them. Specifically, these Commissions ensure cooperation and operational coordination with the Security Forces and Bodies that intervene in the municipal area.
The deputy delegate of the Government of Spain to the Community of Madrid, Pilar Trinidad, and the mayor of Estremera, María Teresa Ocaña, have been responsible for signing the Constitution Act of the Local Security Commission, after which the Secretariat of the Local Security Commission has been appointed and the functioning and powers of the same have been reported.
