A wide range of personnel from the National Police, Local Police and Civil Protection will ensure that the celebration programme planned between 19 and 23 June runs smoothly. To this end, special attention will be paid to spaces such as the Exhibition Centre, as well as to those events with the greatest number of visitors.
Crime rate 16 points below the regional average
The Local Security Board has also analyzed the evolution of crime in the municipality. In this regard, the government delegate thanked “the coordination work between the National Police and the Local Police”, which has resulted in the results “because Torrejón de Ardoz is a safe municipality that maintains a crime rate more than 16 points below the average crime rate in the Community of Madrid that in 2025 was the lowest crime rate in the history of our region”.
He also said that the rise of 9% of crime recorded in 2025 is being reversed and data from 2026 indicate “a consolidated improvement in each of the months until June, so we hope to end the year with good data”.
Finally, the Board has also analyzed the security device that was established at the elrow Town Madrid festival, held on May 1. This electronic music festival, which was held for the second consecutive year in the Fairgrounds of the municipality, was attended by almost 35,000 people.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the municipal government team; Local Police, National Police, Civil Protection and Community of Madrid.
