- In the academic year 2025/2026, the Civil Guard has carried out about 10,000 actions in 520 schools of the Community of Madrid within the Master Plan for Coexistence and Improvement of Security in Educational Centers and their Environments
About 2,000 schoolchildren from 14 educational centers in the Community of Madrid have gathered in Cercedilla to witness the exhibition held by the Civil Guard on the occasion of the end of the 2025/2006 academic year of the Master Plan for Coexistence and Improvement of Security in Educational Centers and their Environments.
The event, held in the town’s bullring, was co-chaired by the delegate of the Spanish Government in Madrid, Francisco Martín Aguirre; the chief general of the first area of the Civil Guard, Francisco Almansa Aguilar; and the mayor of Cercedilla, David José Martín Molpeceres.
Francisco Martín has described the day as “exceptional” by allowing the children of the region to approach the daily work of the agents. “The Civil Guard is always present in extraordinary events such as the Pope’s visit, but also in the day-to-day security of all these municipalities that are participating in this exhibition today,” he stressed.
He also highlighted the preventive objective of the Master Plan, which, together with other measures and work carried out in all areas, have made 2025 the safest year in the history of the Community of Madrid.
In total, the Civil Guard has carried out about 10,000 actions in 520 schools within the Master Plan 2025/2026 in the schools of its demarcation that include training talks aimed at children, parents and teachers.
