THE ORGANISATION FOR ECONOMIC COOPERATION AND DEVELOPMENT (OECD)
La Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development It is an International Agency of an intergovernmental nature of which 37 member countries are part.
Its objective lies in the analysis of economic and social development, as well as all the sectoral policies that influence it.
The breadth of its field of action affects the competences of all levels of government of the Member States, so that in Spain its studies and analysis are not only relevant to the State, but also to the Autonomous Communities and Local Entities.
Committees in which the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Service participates.
Committee on Public Governance (PGC)
El Committee It is responsible for establishing and running the public governance programme affected by regulatory management issues, human resources, conflict of interest and public integrity.
Committee on Regional Development Policy (RDPC)
El Regional Development Policy Committee (RDPC) It was created in 1999 with the aim of identifying the nature of territorial challenges and helping governments to evaluate and improve their territorial policies. Through its current mandate, the Committee aims to serve as the main international forum for high-level policy makers to identify, review, develop and disseminate an innovative, place-, level-, sector- and evidence-based vision of regional development policy.
The Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Service participates in the meetings of the DPRK through a representation of the General Secretariat for Territorial Coordination.
The DPRK also has three working groups:
- Working Group on Development Policies in Urban Areas (WPURB), attended by a person representing the aforementioned General Secretariat for Territorial Coordination;
- Working Group on Territorial Indicators (WPTI), attended by a person representing the National Institute of Statistics;
- Working Group on Development Policies in Rural Areas (WPRUR), attended by a person representing the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.
