State Registry of Democratic Memory Entities

According to Article 14 of Royal Decree 265/2025, can request its registration in the State Registry of Democratic Memory Entities Memorialist entities, legally constituted, whose objectives and statutory purposes include the preservation and dissemination of democratic memoryand which also meet the following requirements:

    ¿QUÉ ENTIDADES PUEDEN INSCRIBIRSE EN EL REGISTRO ESTATAL DE ENTIDADES DE MEMORIA DEMOCRÁTICA?

    According to Article 14 of Royal Decree 265/2025, can request its registration in the State Registry of Democratic Memory Entities Memorialist entities, legally constituted, whose objectives and statutory purposes include the preservation and dissemination of democratic memoryand which also meet the following requirements:

    1. That they are not for profit.
    2. That they act in the Spanish territory.
    3. That they have their headquarters in the Spanish territory.
    4. That they are duly registered in the corresponding Registry.

    You will also be able to register the Entities existing in other countries that, fulfilling only the requirement of non-profit motive; are linked to exile and resistance outside Spain.

    STEPS TO FOLLOW FOR THE FIRST REGISTRATION

    According to the Article 19 of Royal Decree 265/2025, of April 8, which regulates the Council of Democratic Memory and the State Registry of Entities of Democratic Memory, in order to obtain the first registration, the entities must submit:

    1. The Registration Application Form, signed by the legal representative of the entity (available in Word or PDF)
    2. El Tax Identification Number
    3. El certificate of registration in the competent registry, which, among other data, expresses the current composition of the governing and representative bodies.
    4. Los statutes or operating rules in force, accredited with a certificate issued by the corresponding Registry.
    5. El Document or documents accrediting the identity of the person or persons representing the entity.
    6. The responsible declaration duly signed by the person who holds the legal representation of the entity on the List of activities, projects and programs of the entity in the field of democratic memory for the last five years.
      In the event that the entity’s activity in the field of democratic memory has lasted less than five years, the list of activities, projects and programs to be declared are those received during that period.

    The requests, together with the required documentation, must be addressed to the person in charge of the Directorate General for the Promotion of Democratic Memory across General Electronic Registration of the AGE, at the following link: https://reg.redsara.es/

    Once the registration has been made, a responsible declaration duly signed by the person who holds the legal representation of the entity must be submitted on:

    1. Las grants and grants for democratic memory received from public administrations over the last five years, specifying its amount and its purpose. In the event that the entity’s activity in the field of democratic memory has lasted less than five years, the subsidies and aid to be declared are those received during that period.
    2. Las firm sanctions relapses in application of the regulatory regulations on subsidies or, where appropriate, that has not been sanctioned.
