Renfe will strengthen the railway connection between Asturias and Madrid during the months of July and August with the start of an additional train on Sundays, a measure that will allow to increase the offer of places in one of the periods of greater mobility of the year.
The new service will circulate on Sundays in July and August as AVE 4200 Gijón-Madrid, with material S-106, and will leave Gijón at 19:53 hours. The train will make stops in Oviedo and León before continuing to Madrid.
In addition, to facilitate summer mobility, Renfe will make adjustments to the train schedule on Mondays in July and August between Madrid and Gijón, in both senses.
