Sub-delegate of the Government in Salamanca since May 2024, she joined from the University of Salamanca where she was Dean of the Faculty of Translation and Documentation of the University of Salamanca, and Full Professor of University School of Archival and Document Management.
From 2015 to 2019 she was Senator for the Province of Salamanca in the Spanish Senate.
Degree in Geography and History and Diploma in Librarianship and Documentation from the University of Salamanca.
Her working life has been developed in the archives of the Ministry of Culture and the Provincial Council of Zamora, and a professor at the Universities of León and Salamanca. In the latter, as well as being a professor, she has held the position of Dean, Secretariat of the Faculty, as well as Coordinator of Student Mobility of the University of Salamanca, Vice-President of the Board of Teaching and Research Staff of the USAL and Member of the University Cloister on several occasions.
