In accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and the Statutes of Autonomy, the Autonomous Communities are competent and responsible for the convening and holding of elections for the formation of their respective Legislative Assemblies.
In practice, the Autonomous Communities follow the parliamentary model of the State, with Assemblies elected for 4 years and through proportional electoral system corrected by the d´Hondt rule. The only peculiarities relate to the electoral constituency, which is usually the province, except in the cases of Asturias, Murcia, Canarias and Illes Balears; and to the requirement of minimum votes necessary to access the legislative assembly, which in some cases is 5%, while the general rule of the State and in other Communities is 3%.
The related documents provide the official proclamation of elected candidates and the results achieved by the corresponding electoral boards.
