The “Administration near you” is a service of the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory that was born in November 2022. This service, run by the Government Delegations, aims to bring the services of the General State Administration (AGE) closer to citizens residing in municipalities that do not have physical headquarters of the AGE. “The Administration near you” seeks, in short, that the neighbors and neighbors of a significant part of the national territory can carry out different administrative procedures without having to move from their places of residence, feeling that they are users of public services on equal terms.

Although the movements to the different municipalities of “The Administration near you” focused on providing information and procedures of the services of the Government Delegations, as well as facilitating the obtaining of the means of identification and electronic signature, today it seeks to be a comprehensive service incorporating other services of the AGE.

Thus, throughout 2023, “The Administration near you” was incorporating information and procedures from the State Public Employment Service, the National Institute of Social Security and the General Directorate of Traffic, being expected to join other departments and agencies of the AGE in 2024. The involvement of the municipalities is fundamental for the consolidation of this service, therefore, the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory is encouraged to accede to the Collaboration Agreement signed between the MPT and the FEMP on November 17, 2022.
