The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, today invited citizens to learn about the operation and work of the General Administration of the State in Galicia through the events of the Open Administration Week 2026, which will take place globally next week.
The programme extends throughout the four Galician provinces through the Government Sub-Delegations, including both events open to all citizens and others specifically aimed at young people, public administration staff, associations or professional groups that have links with the services of the Government Delegation.
Pedro Blanco celebrated this new edition of Open Administration Week as a way to promote public administration transparency and accountability and encourage citizen participation and interaction with the Administration. This year the program includes activities that will be developed not only in the headquarters of the Delegation and Subdelegations, but also in other units such as the penitentiary centers of Pereiro de Aguiar and Monterroso, headquarters of the INE and the Cadastre, National Museum of Science and Technology and the Botanical Garden of Montealegre, among others.
