Along with housing, roads or farms, it was also necessary to rebuild the legal certainty and confidence of the people affected in their future,” says Héctor Izquierdo.
For the Commissioner, the experience of La Palma demonstrates the value of collaboration between public administrations and the institutions and professionals that are part of the public service. “Five years later, we must recognize those who were there from the first moment and those who have continued to accompany La Palma.
