The Council of Official Languages is chaired by the head of the State Secretariat for Public Administrations.

 

The Vice-Presidency is the head of the Directorate General for Coordination of Competences with the CC.AA. AND EE.LL, from the Secretary of State for Public Administrations.

 

The Council is also composed of a representative, with the rank of Director-General, of each of the ministerial departments.

 

The Secretariat of the Council of Official Languages is exercised by the holder of the Office for Official Languages. The Secretary shall attend the meetings of the Council with a voice, but without a vote.
