The Archive provides the following services:

CONSULTATION

Consultation by ordinary correspondence/e-mail.

The investigator can request by regular mail or e-mail general information about the funds that are kept and the services that are provided. Likewise, you can request the search and location of documentary sources working in the Archive.

The Archive attends to these queries by limiting itself to using the information that can be obtained through the description instruments, thus not conducting research for the user. The in-depth investigations must be carried out by him using the means that the Archive makes available to him.

Consult by means of an electronic form.
Likewise, consultations can be carried out using the standard form available at the Ministry’s electronic headquarters (link to the electronic headquarters-Acceda).

ACCESS AND CONSULTATION OF FUNDS BY APPOINTMENT

The access and consultation of documents kept in the Central Archive of the Ministry of Territorial Policy is regulated by Royal Decree 1708/2011, of 18 November, which establishes the Spanish Archives System and regulates the Archives System of the General Administration of the State and its Public Bodies and its access regime.

Access is free and free, without prejudice to citizens having to prove their identity through:

• National Identity Document (DNI), in the case of Spaniards.
• Alien Identification Number (NIE).
• Passport.

The Archive makes available to researchers all the instruments of description - catalogues, inventories, delivery relationships -, which are in their possession.

REPROGRAPHY SERVICE

The Central Archive provides researchers with simple reproductions, on paper or electronic media, of documents stored in it.

CERTIFICATIONS AND COMPULSAS

The Archive provides certifications and certified copies of the documentation it keeps. These must be requested in writing from the corporate mailbox:
