- The Ministry of Labor and Autonomous Communities agree to share 2,571 M€ to develop Active Employment Policies

The Government, through the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy, will allocate 344,395,628 million euros to the Community of Madrid to develop Active Employment Policies. This was agreed at the LXXXVII Sectoral Conference on Employment and Labour Affairs held yesterday. In total, the allocation amounts to 2,571,961,030 euros from the budgets of the State Public Employment Service (SEPE) for the management of the autonomous communities with competences assumed in the field of Active Employment Policies.
The consensus of the autonomous communities was practically total, with a single vote negative to the distribution.
These funds will be used to finance active employment policy programmes and services included in the Annual Plan for the Promotion of Decent Employment (PAFED).
The Sectoral Conference establishes at the beginning of each financial year both the distribution and the appropriations intended for the implementation of joint plans and programmes relating to the competences of the autonomous communities, as well as their territorial distribution.
Distribution according to compliance
- 28.91% of the funds allocated in 2026, that is, 743,541,735 euros will be distributed among the autonomous communities depending on the degree of compliance with the objectives set in the PAFED of 2025. This item is distributed with the criteria:
- 15% (111,531,260 €) depending on the degree of compliance with the general indicators of the PAFED 2025.
- 60% (€446,125,042) is distributed based on compliance with the indicators that measure the improvement of employability.
- The 10% (€74,354,173) is distributed according to compliance with the performance indicators with beneficiaries of unemployment benefits.
- A 15% (111,531,260 €) is distributed according to the degree of compliance with the indicators of follow-up of training for employment.
- Depending on the fulfillment of the consolidation of staff counsellors and job prospectors in the autonomous communities.
