Pere Parramon Rubio (Girona, 1977) holds a PhD in Art History and a Master’s Degree in Communication and Art Criticism from the University of Girona, with training, among other areas, in Management of Public Schools by the School of Public Administration of Catalonia. Career official, he has been head of studies and director of the Rafael Campalans Institute, and professor of the Jaume Vicencs Vives and Comtessa Ermessenda Institutes, as well as at the University of Girona and the University School of Handicrafts.

In terms of artistic and cultural management, he has been president of the Association of Friends of the Museum of Art of Girona, and deputy director of the Vila Casas Foundation, and curator of exhibitions for different institutions. Member of the Catalan Association of Art Critics (ACCA) and the International Association of Critics of Art (AICA), as well as the Association of Catalan Language Writers (AELC), he has signed numerous articles and is the author of the essay books Art contemporani a Girona, 1994-2019 (together with M. Lluïsa Faxedas) and Game of Thrones: Realities, fictions, cars (with F. Xavier Medina), y de les novelas El noi saltador i la reina dels guardians rossos y La llengua dels ocells.
In the political field he has been a councillor of the City of Girona and a councillor of the Regional Council of Gironés.
