The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has definitively approved the N-6 Intersection Access Reordering Route Project at km 56,98, in the Alto del León, located on the provincial border of Segovia and Madrid. The project has an estimated budget of one million euros (including VAT) and will soon be published in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
The action aims to improve road safety at this point, especially in the turns to the left. To do this, access to both margins will be built by means of a 46 m diameter roundabout, with two lanes of 4 meters in width, maintaining the lane for slow vehicles of the N-6, as well as its current length.
The works will include the clearing and clearing of the land, demolitions, land movements, excavations, landfills and trenches, horizontal and vertical signage, installation of beacons and defenses, and environmental recovery actions.
