- Organized by the Command of the Civil Guard of Madrid, it has been inaugurated by the subdelegate of the Government in the Community of Madrid, Pilar Trinidad.
Representatives of about 80 public, concerted and private schools in the northern educational area of the Community of Madrid have been able to increase their knowledge about the objectives, functions and possibilities of the Master Plan for the coexistence and improvement of safety in schools and their environments in the days that have been held today at the Casa de la Cultura de Torrelodones.
The subdelegate of the Government to the Community of Madrid, Pilar Trinidad, was in charge of inaugurating it and, in her speech, she highlighted the usefulness of this tool that has been evolving and adapting according to the changes in the main concerns of the educational community. Hence, the most demanded talks have gone from dealing with the problem of addictions to others such as harassment behaviors, gender violence and the danger of violent groups or, currently, to the risks of digital environments.
Last year more than 12,000 talks were given and, among the objectives set for the future, is the incorporation of other local police, in addition to the Municipal Police of Madrid, which is already participating, to the initiative.
Organized by the Command of the Civil Guard of Madrid, representatives of the Area of the High Inspection of Education of the Government Delegation in Madrid, of the Ministry of Education of the Community of Madrid, of the National Police Force, of the Municipal Police of Madrid, of the Municipal Police of Torrelodones participated in the day.
The following speakers took part: the Director of the High Inspection Area of Education, Inés Represa; the Coexistence and Anti-bullying Unit of the Community of Madrid, Astrid Rodríguez; the Lieutenant Coordinator of the Master Plan of the Command of the Civil Guard of Madrid; the National Police Inspector of the Provincial Delegation of Citizen Participation of Madrid; and the Inspector of the Coexistence and Prevention Section of the Technical Coordination Commissariat of the Municipal Police of Madrid. The latter three have participated in a colloquium in which attendees have had the opportunity to address their questions and ask their doubts about different aspects of the Master Plan such as how to request talks or how to participate in teacher training.
This format is the third organized by Guardia Civil and the intention is to reiterate this event in the other educational areas of the Community of Madrid to try to reach all educational centers and expand knowledge about this Plan that coordinates and promotes the Government Delegation in Madrid.
