The citizen can request the recognition of signatures to the Directorate of Autonomous and Local Legal Regime by postal mail or in person.
- If the postal mail is used, you must submit in an envelope the following documentation:
- The ORIGINAL document that is intended to be legalized.
- A writing in which at least the following extremes will be collected:
- Country in which the document is intended to have effects.
- Telephone of contact.
- Postal address to which the document must be sent, once the recognition of signatures has been made by the General Directorate of Regional and Local Legal Regime. Alternatively, the interested party may request that the documentation be sent directly to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, so that the corresponding services continue with the processing of the next phase of the diplomatic legalization procedure.
