- The waterproofing of three structures of the A-6 motorway will be carried out: two in km 36 in Galapagar and another in Collado Villalba in km 37,400; and the rehabilitation of the firm in a section of the aforementioned motorway in Las Rozas.
- Between August 3 and 21, lane and total cuts will be made in the structures and alternate cuts in the rehabilitation section of the firm, according to the established programming.
- These actions are included in the conservation and maintenance program of the State Road Network, in which the Ministry of Transport has invested 876.3 million euros since June 2018 in the province of Madrid.
The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility will carry out actions to improve and preserve three structures and a stretch of road on the A-6 motorway in the province of Madrid, in the municipalities of Galapagar, Collado Villalba and Las Rozas. The total amount of the actions is 198,000 euros (VAT included).
The following works will be carried out:
- Waterproofing of three structures (upper passes) on the A-6 motorway: two at kilometer 36 in Galapagar (one per driveway) and another in Collado Villalba at kilometer 37,400.
- Superficial rehabilitation of the firm on the A-6 service road, between kilometers 19 and 21 (in both directions), by extending two layers of cold micro-agglomerate.
To carry out the works, and to ensure the safety of workers and users, the following effects on traffic will occur:
- From Tuesday 4 to Sunday 16 of August: cut a lane over the upper passes, keeping at all times 1 sense.
- Monday, August 3 and from Monday, August 17 to Friday, August 21: total cut of the upper passes.
- From Monday 17 to Friday 21: alternate lane cuts on the service tracks between kilometers 19 and 21.
The following alternative itineraries will be enabled for the total cutting of the upper steps:
- From the upper pass of kilometer 36 towards the service road with direction A Coruña: through the service road direction Madrid and change of direction in the upper pass of kilometer 33.
- From the upper pass of kilometer 37.4 towards the service road with direction Madrid: through the service road direction A Coruña and change of direction in the upper pass of kilometer 38.6.
For the duration of the work, maximum caution and attention is requested to the signage of works, together with strict compliance with the recommendations of the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT), visible on its luminous signs of variable signage.
Detailed information on the traffic situation on the affected roads can be obtained in a timely manner, both in the radio bulletins and on the DGT website.
The aforementioned planning may be altered in case of adverse weather conditions.
These actions are included within the program of conservation and maintenance of the State Road Network, in which the Ministry of Transport has invested 876.3 million euros since June 2018 in the province of Madrid, and which generates a significant impulse to improve the quality of service of the existing state road infrastructure.
