The subdelegate of the Government in Ourense, Eladio Santos, stressed today that the Digital Kit "marked a before and an after" in the modernization of the small business fabric, with 5,800 beneficiaries in the province of Ourense. The subdelegate checked at the Chusanas Estilista hairdressing salon in Ourense, the effects of this plan, together with one of its managers, Ana Novoa.
The subdelegate highlighted the impact of this government digitization program, which provides €23M of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan to companies in the province of Ourense. So far, 19,000 employees and employees in the province have benefited in the sum of the five calls that the Digital Kit carries.
Taking into account these data, Eladio Santos celebrated that "the Government of Spain reaches the small business of each city and town, bringing digitalization to the entire territory." Thus, he specified that this initiative allows companies to access digital solutions such as e-commerce, customer management, cybersecurity, web presence and social networks or business management, improving their competitiveness, productivity and adaptation to the digital economy.
In this line, the subdelegate specified that 61% of the 5,800 beneficiaries in the province of Ourense are autonomous people and the remaining 39%, small and medium-sized companies "that without this financing could not have something that seems as simple as a website to make themselves known or digital tools to manage their accounts". The most benefited sector in the province is commerce and hospitality, with 35% of the total aid.
Chusanas Stylists made use of the subsidized solution of presence on the internet, whose objective is to increase the positioning of the company in social networks and search engines, increasing the reach of potential customers and increasing visitor traffic. Its digital solution was implemented by the Ourense company Neretec Consulting, which has the category of digitizing agent to accompany the final companies with their transformation processes and provide the digitalization solutions that allow them to advance in their level of digital maturity.
