The Council of Ministers approved this morning a Royal Decree-Law on urgent measures to support the victims of the railway accident in Urda (Toledo), which provides for 30 million euros to speed up the receipt of aid by those affected and thus avoid the waiting times inherent in the ordinary insurance procedures.

The Council of Ministers today approved a plan for the optimization of high-speed safety. The accidents in the Madrid-Seville corridor oblige to strengthen the Spanish railway system and improve its protocols for action in exceptional circumstances.

The victim is Nadia, 38, who was allegedly murdered by her partner on October 28. The victim had two minor children and one minor daughter and there were no prior complaints against the alleged aggressor.

The Advanced Command Post of Urda (Toledo) this morning hosted a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the railway accident that occurred yesterday Wednesday in this town, in which at least 69 people have died and another 53 remain hospitalized.
