The State Secretariat for Territorial Policy is the highest organ of the Department responsible, under the superior direction of the person in charge of the Ministry, for the promotion, direction and management of the Government’s policy regarding the organization and territorial activity of the State, the General Administration of the State in the territory, as well as institutional relations with the autonomous communities and local entities.
Likewise, the State Secretariat for Territorial Policy is responsible for promoting and coordinating the Conference of Presidents, as well as the Presidency of the Council of Official Languages in the General Administration of the State.
