Graduated in Law from the University of Murcia, he is a lawyer of the Illustrious College of Lawyers of Murcia (currently not a practitioner).

He was the pedantic mayor of El Raal (Murcia) between 2015 and 2019 and a member of the Socialist Parliamentary Group in the Regional Assembly of Murcia between 2019 and 2023, where he served as spokesman for his group between 2021 and 2023.

Between 2023 and 2025 he was a deputy for the Region of Murcia in the Congress of Deputies and President of the Committee of Justice of the Congress until September 2025, when he was appointed delegate of the Government in the Region of Murcia.
