The Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory is responsible for proposing and implementing the Government ' s policy on territorial policy, territorial organization of the State and relations with the autonomous communities and entities that make up the local administration. It is also responsible for proposing and implementing the Government ' s policy on historical and democratic memory.

This Ministry has, as higher bodies, the State Secretariat for Territorial Policy and the State Secretariat for Democratic Memory.
