Elisabet Romero Álvarez (Tarragona, 1975) holds a degree in Business Administration and Management and a degree in Business Sciences from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, as well as a Master’s degree in Management Control/Controlling from the International University of La Rioja.

Since 2002 he has carried out several tasks and responsibilities related to the health sector, especially in the field of primary care and the University Hospital Joan XXII. In this sense, he has been in charge of the Management Control Unit of the Catalan Health Institute (ICS) at the Camp de Tarragona. She has also been a reference for the ICS analytical accounting project, as well as secretary and treasurer of the Joan XXIII Foundation.
