She has worked during her professional career as Technical Advisor in Occupational Risk Prevention, Education Inspector, Head of Educational Plans and Programs, Student Activities Advisor and Professor of Language and Literature for the Ministry of Educational Development, Vocational Training, University, Research and Innovation of the Junta de Andalucía.

She has been Chair of the Prevention and Action Committee in cases of workplace, sexual and sexual harassment or other discrimination and a member of the Occupational Health and Safety Committee of the Educational Administration.

She was Secretary of Education at FETE-UGT, Coordinator of the Education Sector of the PSOE in the province of Cádiz, member of the Ethics and Guarantees Commission of the Provincial Executive and responsible for different executive areas in the Municipal Executive Commission of Cádiz.

He has belonged to the Provincial Commission of Measures of Protection of Minors of the Ministry of Equality, the Municipal School Council of Cadiz and the Social Council of the University of Cadiz by the Parliament of Andalusia.

In addition to her professional work, she has a long career as a researcher at the university level on the work of several writers and poets from Cádiz. Blanca Flores actively participates in various aspects of the sociocultural, political and literary life of the province, including the Association of Friends of Quiñones and CMC (Cádiz, Mujer and Carnaval).
