Las Rozas has reviewed and approved the Security Plan of the San José de Las Matas and Nuestra Señora del Retamar 2026 Patron Saint Festivities at the session of the Local Security Board held today in the town.
The meeting was co-chaired by the deputy delegate of the Government of Spain to the Community of Madrid, Pilar Trinidad Núñez, and the mayor of Las Rozas, José de la Uz Pardos, and representatives of the Civil Guard, the Local Police and the Community of Madrid also participated.
The Board reviewed the evolution of crime data during the first months of 2026 with respect to the same period of 2025, which recorded a decrease in both criminal offenses (-3.41%) and infractions against property (-3.57%). This has helped to place the crime rate -019% below the previous one, to 41, 28 points, well below the average of the Community of Madrid.
