PhD in Law from the University of Extremadura, with an extraordinary PhD award in 2001 for her doctoral thesis on “El niño en el Derecho Internacional de los Derechos Humanos”.
Full professor of Public International Law and International Relations at the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid, and general secretary of this university from April 16, 2021 until her appointment as Deputy Delegate of the Government in Madrid.
In this capacity she was also Vice President of International Relations, from October 1, 2019 to April 15, 2021, and head of the Inspection of Services from September 30, 2018 to March 17, 2019.
Visiting professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of New Mexico (USA) in 2015 and 2017 and at the University of the Republic of Uruguay (2017-2022).
