- The security data of the locality have been reviewed, whose crime rate remains below the average of the Community of Madrid.
The deputy delegate of the Government of Spain to the Community of Madrid, Pilar Trinidad Núñez, and the mayor of El Álamo, Alberto Cabezas Ortega, co-chaired today the Local Security Board of the municipality, focused on the coordination of the security device for the next Great Medieval Fair.
In this XXIX edition, which will be held between April 30 and May 3, there are many activities planned such as parades, concerts, flea markets or horse rides, and a significant influx of attendees is also expected, since this year it also extends its radius to the area of the hermitage of Our Lady of Solitude.
In addition, other operations have been reviewed for events such as the National Base Football Tournament "Villa de El Alamo" or the San Isidro Fair.
Good security data
The deputy delegate of the Government and the mayor have agreed to celebrate the excellent security data of the municipality —with a crime rate that in 2025 was established at 33.23— that reflect the consolidation of the same as one of the safest in the Community of Madrid.
They have also pointed out the good coordination between the different forces and security forces responsible for ensuring a quiet celebration of events such as the aforementioned Fair.
