Raquel Guasch Ferrer was born in Ibiza in 1975. She has a degree in Catalan Philology from the University of Barcelona.He was dedicated to linguistic advice at the City Council of Formentera, until in 2003 he began his teaching activity at the IES Marc Ferrer de Formentera, a work that complemented with the teaching for the training in Catalan language of the ICE of the UIB and with Catalan courses for adults.
She has collaborated in writing the Eivissa i Formentera Enciclopedy, and she has been doing research on the islands toponymy. She also has strong ties to the social associations of the island of Pitiusa, through its participation in the activities of groups such as the Balearic Cultural Work (Obra Cultural Balear).
During the 2019-2023 legislature, she was Minister of Heritage and Linguistic Policy at the Island Council of Formentera.
