The Inter-Ministerial Commission for the Coordination of the State Peripheral Administration (CICAPE) is responsible for coordinating the activities of the State Peripheral Administration with the various ministerial departments.
The CICAPE has the following functions:
- To improve the coordination of the actions of the State Peripheral Administration with the Ministerial Departments and, where appropriate, with their Public Bodies.
- To promote communication and exchange of information between the State Peripheral Administration and the Ministries and their Public Agencies.
- To propose general criteria and basic lines of action for the peripheral administration of the State in its relations with other public administrations.
- To issue a report, when requested by the competent bodies, in relation to the normative projects in the field of peripheral administration of the State.
- To establish the channels of information in relation to the actions and projects to be developed by the Ministerial Departments and their Public Bodies, in the field of the Peripheral Administration of the State.
- As many functions as are necessary to achieve the general objective of coordination of the peripheral administration of the State.
