CCAA Regional Organization
According to the Spanish constitutional system, the organization of the institutions and the system of self-government of each Community corresponds to the Autonomous Community itself. Its basic political institutions are foreseen and regulated in the Statutes of Autonomy. These initial forecasts have subsequently been developed through the approval by the different legislative assemblies of the corresponding organizational laws.
In general, the Autonomous Communities organize their administrative structures taking as their model those of the State, so that the basic organizational structures are the Councils or Departments and the Directorates-General.
The regulation referred to below is the one approved at the beginning of each Legislature or the one approved in a general way, not including partial modifications, which should be noted if it is taken into account that the administrative structures usually undergo subsequent modifications.
