With the rank of Undersecretary, he will be responsible for promoting and coordinating the activities of the General Administration of the State to commemorate the 50 years since the beginning of the process for the transition to democracy.
She combines her career as a historian with a long experience as a cultural manager. As an academic, he has worked at the University of Leeds, at Newcastle University and at the University of Zaragoza. His research focuses on the study of the relationships between history, politics, culture and society, especially in contemporary Spain, highlighting his monograph Francoism in Spanish Cinema (1975-2000), published by Marcial Pons in 2022.
As a cultural manager, she has also worked on the programming and production of interesting knowledge transfer initiatives, such as the cultural program of the European research project RISE “Narratives of Crisis and Renewal”, of Newcastle University; or the exhibition “The Silenced Famine. The hunger during the post-war Franco era (1939-1952)” of the University of Granada. He has experience in the management of large congresses and events, such as the V and VI Ibero-American Congresses of Culture (Ministry of Culture: Zaragoza, 2013; Costa Rica, 2014); and in the coordination of cultural centers (Centro Cultural Condeduque, Madrid City Council, 2019-2021; Caixaforum Zaragoza, 2015-2016), where he performed functions of coordination of teams and artists, budget supervision and communication.
