Functions

With the rank of Undersecretary, it will be in charge of coordinating and promoting the actions adopted by the General Administration of the State for the repair of the damages caused by the volcanic eruptions and for the reconstruction of the island of La Palma.

Academic training

  • Doctor of Economic and Business Sciences from ICADE (Universidad Pontificia de Comillas).
  • Executive MBA from the Instituto de Empresa (IE Business School), nº1 of its promotion.
  • Lawyer (Bachelor of Law, Economic and Business Sciences: ICADE E-3).
  • Master in Economic Research by ICADE.

She has developed her professional career in about twenty countries, simultaneously in the areas of management, teaching and research.

  • Director of Internal Audit of the Unión Fenosa Gas Group.
  • Director of Internal Audit of Renfe Operadora.
  • Head of Internal Audit and Votorantim Cimento Ombudsman for Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
  • General Coordinator of Central Services in the City of S/C of Tenerife.
  • Head of Management Control of the Hospiten Group
  • Secretary of State for Finance.
  • President of the AEAT (Tax Agency).
  • Executive President of SEGIPSA (State Society of Real Estate Management of Heritage).

Teaching:

  • Associate Professor at the Business Institute, (IE Business School)
  • ICADE Associate Professor.
  • Associate Professor Deusto Business School.
  • He has taught in NDU (Lebanon), Kedge and BEM (France). St. Xavier College (India) and with shared IE programs in Insper-ie (Brazil), Aramco (Saudi Arabia), Large Family Business Programs (Mexico), Islamic Development Bank (Saudi Arabia), etc.

Research:

  • In the research area he has been deputy director of the School of Economic Intelligence of the Autonomous University of Madrid. Director of the Observatory of Economic and Competitive Intelligence of Messiah-Intelligence Marca España. Director of the Economic and Competitive Intelligence manual (Tirant lo Blanch 2018). Ha publicado en distintos medios como el International Journal of Intelligence, Security and Public Affairs, Unisci Discussion Paper, Journal of Economic & Business Intelligence entre otros.
