It is the responsibility of the Cooperation Commission:
- Establish the information and collaboration mechanisms for the exercise of the respective competences.
- Collaborating in the elaboration of legislative projects of the State that uniquely affect the competences and interests of Extremadura.
- Being the channel and scope for conflict resolution between both administrations
- Any other functions of a similar nature proposed at the initiative of the parties.
To date, the Statutory Commission has not been formally constituted, so that the Bilateral Commission for State Administration Cooperation – Autonomous Community of Extremadura of 11 remains in force. FEB.1992, and the internal regulations adopted at the meeting of the Bilateral Commission of 13.ABR.2005.
It is composed of five permanent members appointed by each of the representations and in addition other representatives may attend depending on the topics to be treated. The President of the Commission is the State Administration and the Vice-President is the Autonomous Community. Each representation will be assisted by a secretary.
