Transportes advances in the rehabilitation of the N-6 firm between Collado Villalba and Guadarrama, in Madrid

Since yesterday, Monday, May 25th

  • One of the driving directions will be cut between km 42.2 and 46.9 during night time except for the first week of June that will be cut during daytime.
  • For access to Guadarrama it is recommended to use the link of km 47 of the AP-6.
  • This action is part of the contract for preventive maintenance and improvement of that of the State Road Network in Madrid, awarded for 7.5 million euros.

The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility is developing actions to improve the firm on the N-6 road between Collado Villalba at kilometer 42.2 and Guadarrama at kilometer 46.9. These works are part of the contract for preventive maintenance and improvement of that of the State Road Network in the province of Madrid (lot 9), which was awarded for 7.5 million euros.

The works will affect the following sections:

• Glorieta N-6 connection with M-510 and access Villalba (km 42.2)

• Structure (km 42,450 – km 42,550)

• Main trunk (km 42.3 - km 46.9)

• Bus stops from km 42 to km 43

To carry out the works, and to ensure the safety of workers and users, from today, Monday, May 25 and during the next 4 weeks, one of the senses of circulation will be cut between km 42.2 and 46.9 at night except for the first week of June that will be cut in daytime. The cuts will follow the following schedule:

  • For this last week of May and second and third of June: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 22:00 to 6:00 hours.
  • For the first week of June: Monday 1, Tuesday 2, Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 of June, from 10:00 to 20:00 and Friday 5 of June from 10:00 to 13:00 hours.

An alternative detour between km 43.9 and 47.3 will be enabled on the roads M-527, M-600 and M-614; while in the rest of the stretch the alternative passage through the lane not affected by the works will be established. Timely cuts may occur in the exits or entrances that connect to the road, as well as in the connections to the roundabouts.

However, and despite the fact that the detours will be perfectly signposted; for access to Guadarrama it is recommended to use the link of km 47 of the AP-6.
