- Casarrubuelos has examined and approved the security plan for the May Festivities at the extraordinary Local Security Board convened today for that purpose in the locality.
The meeting was co-chaired by the deputy delegate of the Government of Spain to the Community of Madrid, Pilar Trinidad Núñez, and the mayor of Casarrubuelos, José Astillero Ballesteros, and representatives of the Civil Guard, the Local Police and the Community of Madrid also participated.
The festivities, which are held in honor of the Most Holy Christ of the Vera Cruz, will feature religious events and popular activities that will feature devices designed by the Local Police in close collaboration with the Civil Guard.
Pilar Trinidad has highlighted the good crime data that the municipality recorded in 2025, with a decrease of 3.93 points in relation to the rate of 2024, to 30.77 points, being much lower than the average of the CAM (54.9) according to the Crime Balance of the Secretary of State.
In addition, the next incorporation of the municipality into the VioGén system of comprehensive protection and follow-up of victims of gender violence has been discussed, through which its Local Police will contribute to the follow-up of some cases in coordination with the Civil Guard.
