· It is a body of coordination and police cooperation for municipalities that do not have Local Police
The City of Lozoyuela–Navas-Sieteiglesias has today constituted its Local Security Commission in an act co-chaired by the subdelegate of the Government, Pilar Trinidad, and the mayor of the municipality, Lucía Balseiro.
Together with them, representatives of the Civil Guard, of the Community of Madrid and members of the Municipal Corporation, who have participated in the act of creation of this body of coordination and cooperation between the administrations and the Security Forces and Bodies in municipalities without their own local police.
“A very useful instrument”, in the words of the government subdelegate, which allows to analyze the security situation of the municipality and facilitate contact between the different administrations to “put on the table what can be done” to improve it and in the face of specific events, such as the patron saint’s parties.
Precisely, this constitutive meeting has addressed, among other issues, the security situation and preventive actions.
For her part, the mayor thanked the Government’s deputy delegate for her support and presence in the constitution of this Commission and the opportunity it offers to all the neighbors of a small municipality such as yours in strengthening their security.
