Pilar Bernabé García

Appointed delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community on June 28, 2022.

From 2019 to 2022 she has been fourth deputy mayor at the City Council of Valencia and as councillor she has been responsible for five councils: Innovative Development of Economic Sectors and Employment; Sports; Entrepreneurship and Economic Innovation; Training and Employment and Active Ageing.

Under these responsibilities, she has been president of the Board of Trustees and the Permanent Council of the València Activa Foundation; president and vocal of the Municipal Sports Foundation; vocal of the Central Board of Fallera; vocal of the Governing Board of the People’s University; representative of the Executive Committee of the International Exhibition Fair; representative in the Network of Entities for Local Development (REDELL); president of the Municipal Board of Patraix; vocal of the València Exhibition and Audiovisual Initiatives; vocal holder of the Strategic Innovation Foundation.

Since 2006 she has carried out different tasks in Valencian politics: advisor to the table in the Cortes Valencianas, municipal adviser and chef de cabinet of the current deputy mayor of València.

He began his professional career in 2001, combining it with university studies in Hispanic Philology and Audiovisual Communication at the University of Valencia.

Born in Valencia in 1979, in the neighborhood of Patraix. Very linked to the neighborhood movement and to social entities. Throughout her professional life she has been part of multiple discussion tables, colloquiums and presentations in different areas of the city, in which she has tried to bring a feminist perspective to entrepreneurship and economic innovation in the city of Valencia.
