The Ministry of Territorial Policy participates through the 19 Government Delegations in the First Professional Experience Program in Public Administrations.
The Programme is part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, more specifically in lever policy VIII “New care economy and employment policies”, Component 23 “New public policies for a dynamic, resilient and inclusive labour market”, led by the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy.
The participation of the MPT is materialized through the grants granted to the Government Delegations in the framework of Order TES/1152/2021, of October 24, of the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy, aimed at the financing of the "Program of first professional experience in public administrations", from the budget of the SEPE in the framework of the Mechanism for Recovery and Resilience (program 240 A).
These grants enable unemployed young people who have completed their formal education to gain “soft” skills as well as social and professional skills in areas such as ecological transition and the green economy, the digitisation of services, social cohesion and rural local development to have a first job experience in government delegations.
A total of 244 training contracts have been offered to all Government Delegations[1] in order to gain professional experience in a series of projects designed by the Delegations themselves to meet their specific needs. The projects deal with subjects such as document processing and preservation of documents; equality; modernization of legal language; or the advice of Next Generation Funds, among others.
A total of 71 projects are carried out, 38 of which deserve special attention as they are part of two strategic programs for the MPT: the program of modernization of citizen communication and the program of rural dissemination of electronics. These projects, which are carried out in each and every one of the Government Delegations, are configured as fundamental tools to bring the General Administration of the State closer to the citizens of the entire national territory.”
