The delegate of the Government, Alicia Echeverría, and the president of the Official College of Administrative Managers of Navarra, Nuria García, have signed a protocol of action for the execution of procedures linked to the Office of Foreigners by the managers. This protocol updates the one signed by both entities in December 2020.
In accordance with the signed protocol, the College undertakes to set up services that, centrally, will be responsible for receiving and verifying the documentation contained in the immigration files submitted by the collegiate administrative managers. The documentation provided will be collated by a person from the College, establishing a preliminary filter for its subsequent presentation through the electronic headquarters of the Aliens Office, Mercurio, accompanied by the Certificate of Collegial Review, making the exchange of information between both institutions safer at the legal level.
For its part, the Aliens Office will establish a direct and permanent channel of communication with the College that will favor the correction of errors and requirements, as well as the unification of criteria to improve the processing. In the same way, it will ensure that the person in the College responsible for verifying, collating and compulsing the documentation, as well as for centrally presenting the applications, has the necessary training to favor a more agile processing of the procedures and to reduce the management times.
Once the documentation has been verified, the Aliens Office will issue the corresponding resolution finalizing the procedure. And, if the appearance of the interested person is necessary during the processing, a specific pre-appointment system will be established for the College when necessary.
