The deputy delegate of the Government, María Rivas, participated this morning in the official inauguration of the First Gastro-Lexlegitimate Fair of Paderne where she pointed out that this event was born to value the products of the land, of undeniable quality, the traditional gastronomy, and also to be a source of economic dynamism for the city of Paderne.
Many of the products present in this gastrosocial meeting, can boast the distinction of belonging to a territory as rich and diverse as the Biosphere Reserve Mariñas Coruñesas and Terras del Mandeo.
María Rivas took advantage of her speech to congratulate the mayor, Sergio Platas, for the celebration of this Fair, and also wanted to send her congratulations for the preacher, José Manuel Rodríguez “Noly”, for his career as a singer in the Los Satellites Orchestra. He later congratulated the sommelier, technician in Viticulture and Oenology and professor of Sensory Analysis, Luis Paadín, for his appointment as Figure of Honor of the Legitimate White.
The subdelegate stressed that “this new stage, with the premiere of GastroLexlegitimate, must also be an opportunity to bet on promoting trade, employment, tourism that grow alongside these events that mix memory, tradition and modernity”.
Finally, he wanted to highlight the importance of highlighting the good of our land, as is being done in this region through the Destination Tourism Sustainability Plan of the Coruñesas Navies, financed with €1.5M by the Government’s Recovery Transformation and Resilience Plan and which, among other actions, contemplates the promotion of this destination by highlighting its gastronomic and environmental values.
