The Minister of Territorial Policy and Public Service, Carolina Darias, has made an appeal to celebrate this Christmas by doing what we know keeps the virus at bay: “I’m convinced that the best gift we can give ourselves this Christmas is to give ourselves lives.”
Our horizon of hope is closer, added the minister, “Spain’s unique vaccination strategy highlights this, but we have to arrive in the best conditions for when the vaccines arrive in our country.”
Carolina Darias, who appeared in a press conference with the Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, at the end of the meeting of the Interterritorial Council of the National Health System, stressed the importance of the agreement adopted today on measures on the Christmas holidays, “a further step in co-governance and in the adoption of measures to contain the spread of the virus jointly. The measures are the result of the previous work carried out by the Ministry of Health and the CCAA and will allow us to celebrate a different Christmas.”
